DAY 1

Well I made it! I had my first American feed whilst waiting the 3 ½ hours in San Francisco airport for my next flight, a pepperoni pizza (sorry no photos). I remembered I had my camera as I was leaving San Francisco

Golden Gate bridge and San Francisco on the left

Oakland with half of the bridge

Mount Everest

Arrived in Philly (I’m down with the lingo) am I’m now staying with Mary Ann and Larry at their place in King of Prussia (Mary Ann works for the company I’ll be at). They are really nice people – showed me around town and took me to my first ‘diner’... the waitress called everyone ‘hun’ and it looked all too much like a movie! Sitting in booths eating large plates of oily, greasy bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes which this place called food... it tasted like oiled flavoured grease! But I loved it! Haha.

We then came home via town and the Rocky Steps (sorry I’ve left out lots cause I can’t be bothered typing). Not sure what tomorrow’s plans are but Superbowl XLII is on tomorrow night! Never seen a game but it would have to be better than watching AFL!

I’ll take my camera out tomorrow to get some happy snaps for you all. But it seems like a really nice city with nice people. It’s now below zero and should be snowing in the next few days. I’m sure I’ll be taking photos then!
